My kids and grandkids are coming over for a visit!
All combined there are 12 grandkids coming over!!!!

Gonna be a  housefull that's for sure!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Everyone!
Wishing everyone a terrific Holiday Season.
It's been a real busy time this Christmas.....my son and one of my daughters came over with all the kids (10 all together)
We went to the town hall Saturday evening and had Christmas Dinner with our neighbors and then Santa popped in for a visit! 
The kids really had a great time.   We didn't have any company for Christmas,  just me, hubby and my Dad, who lives with us.  I did bake a Ham with all the trimmings though.  We just enjoyed the day, watched a couple movies, took time away from our computers and really had some quality time as a family.  It was very relaxing and nice for a change.   I didn't even do the dishes until the next day    wasn't suppose to say that...lol)  We did miss having the kids here for Christmas Day, but they are all grown with kids of their own and Santa has to come to their houses...lol  and we did get to spend Saturday with them, which actually wore us out but in a good way..lol 
I do miss waking up on Christmas morning and not having any kids around though.    Seems kids make Christmas extra special.
Anyway.....Hoping you a joyful & healthy New Year   

Boy, Winter has hit us with a bang.....nothing but ICE everywhere!
Power was out for almost 36 hours.
Food was thawing out in fridge!
Our new roof was even leaking from the weight of the ice around the chimney,  I guess. (at least our insurance will cover the damages)
My internet time has been limited and the power has still been going off and on all day. 
I am surprised that Direct TV is working when the power is on...it usually goes out when the wind blows the wrong way.
We have another round moving in tonight, wintery mix they are calling it. 
Hopefully, it will clear up enough this next week so I can get out and get my Christmas shopping done!

Guess I should be thankful ,  we're weren't hit as bad as Oklahoma....I sure feel for them.  Send your thoughts and prayers their way for a quick thaw!

Green Jello/Pineapple Salad
Corn Cobettes
Cranberry Sauce
Home Made Dinner Rolls

There will be 5 adults and 8 kids

I was just wondering how many people really use blogs or "spaces"? Is it as popular at it seems? Do you advertise your space? "My Space" seems really popular,  does anyone use that? Just a few thoughts  :)

I just finished downloading the Windows Live Writer and I wanted to see how it works.

I sure hope it was worth the download.

I like trying new things that are suppose to make it easier to work online.   Seems like I have a different program for everything.

Why can't  they make a "All in  One Program" that does it all?

I tried Noah but it uses IE & for some reason I can't process ads on my sites with IE.   The only browser that I can use is Firefox, which is fine because I like the features of Firefox.

Well, I guess I will see how this works now  :)
